How it works

A standard NFC tag, sewn or stuck where it matters.

Every x))) patch contains a rewritable NFC tag. Any modern phone can read it by holding it close — no app to install for the person scanning, and nothing locking the tag to this platform.

Step 01

Attach your patch

Sew, stick or clip it to clothing, a helmet, a bag, a vehicle or equipment.

Step 02

Program it or connect it

Write the tag yourself, or activate it against a managed x))) Connect profile.

Step 03

Update when needed

Rewrite the tag, or change your profile once and every connected patch follows.

Program it yourself

  • Buy the patch once. There is no subscription and no account.
  • Open any compatible NFC writing app on a modern phone.
  • Write a web address, telephone number, text record or contact card.
  • Rewrite the tag whenever the information changes.

Nothing on this website is required to use the patch this way.

Use x))) Connect

  • Create an account and activate the tag with its code.
  • Build a profile from information blocks and set what scanners can see.
  • Connect further patches to the same profile — jacket, helmet, bike, keyring.
  • Update the profile once and every connected patch shows the new information.

The patch range

Every shape carries the same encapsulated NFC tag, so the way you use it is entirely your decision. Raised TPU artwork, weatherproof, sew-on flange, built to stay on a jacket through a British winter.
